Only eight hours until we go back home, I’m sitting behind my pc programming, something where I have trouble starting with at home. I started on Thursday night at 3:00 after my work, still had to pack my bags and pc, as i always do that on the last possible moment. After I was finished I slept like 3 to 4 hours before I had to get out at 9:45 as my alarmclock went off. I still had to get some Swedish kroners and some drinks/snacks for on the road. My mom would pick me up at 11:00 to bring me to the meeting spot. After she had her must-have cup of coffee we left around 11:30, as we had to be there before 12:00, the time of departure.

After I had put my bags in the trailer I sat down in the bus. I was sitting alone on the bus for the first two meetingspots (mine and the one in Enschede), then Hans came sitting next to me after he joined our group. Not that I was lonely, I talked with some of the pro Hearthstone players and their manager. We talked a bit and it was fun, same goes with Hans, they are great people.

When we arrived at DreamHack we had to wait an hour until we could get in. So a couple of us started playing some sort of soccer with the inflatable beach ball, one of the goodies we got on the bus. Then at 8 o’clock we could enter the convention center to get to our seats. I was at hall B row 18 seat 17. In the mail it was stated B18/17 so I thought that was the row we all had, but apparently it was my seat. Well, not my seat as I was moved to the other side to seat 18, which I’m thankful for as next to me on the left side there was an emppty seat. So with the stuff I took with me, which was almost too much, I really could use that spot for storage. I need to remember to bring some sort of cabin rack for next time so I can make more efficient use of my space because I dont think I’m always lucky to have a seat empty next to me. I played games and hung out with my neighbour to the right, Julian. We had some fun times, playing LoL or even the very annoying but highly addicting ball game (on the website of Agar.io). Damn those bigger balls killing me all the time!!

DreamHack is an amazing experience, it is a big convention center and the volunteers and people working here are very friendly. One downside is that they speak to you in Swedish instead of English, which is very weird considering it is an international event. Thank God most do speak English when you say “please English”. Also Intel Pack4Dreamhack are a great bunch of people, they haven’t given me a bad feeling at all this entire event. I had a great time! And I will get rid of the rumour, yes there is a high percentage of good looking girls here in Sweden.

So now I’m going to program some more and play some more games. I would hope to come back sometime, maybe for the next winter edition. Cc2k signing off!
