Hey! Fourth time Packer Robert a.k.a. Chaobaozi here. Once again lucky enough to be one of the legendary packers for DreamHack Winter 2013. My very first experience with DreamHack also was a Winter edition, and since I only had Summer editions after that, I’m super hyped to go to another Winter edition of this awesome event.

Every time I came back, I had great stories to tell and I wanted to share the experience with as many people as possible. So this time, because I won’t shut up about it, my girlfriend Jylke a.k.a Luna Rose, will join me to see what the fuss is all about.

Jylke: “After hearing lots of awesome stories, I got really interested in going to Sweden to enjoy DreamHack. Even though I’m not much of a gamer, I got really excited when I heard that I am one of the 75 lucky people to go to DreamHack with Intel Pack4DreamHack. Now it’s less than two weeks ahead of us, and I can’t wait until we’re going! I am sure that we’ll have a great time. Not only because of the people we’re going with, but also the thrill of being at such a big event. And of course, I’m lucky that I’ll be going with more experienced packers, so I’ll be able to make the most out of this great opportunity.”

Robert: At least one of my brothers have joined me each time I went to DreamHack but this time both of them will join me and Jylke. And one of them will even be able to celebrate his birthday in Sweden this year. So we will make sure to make this Winter edition the most memorable DreamHack we’ve ever been to!

As always I’m looking forward to cheer on the top StarCraft players and hopefully get a few autographs, perhaps even have a little chat with them. I love to learn more from them as they compete at the highest level possible in this exciting game. See them perform ingenious maneuvers with their army as they also control the base behind that. It’s the superb multitasking and perfect execution of army movement that keeps me at the edge of the seat until a player calls “GG”.

Jylke: “This being my first time going to DreamHack, I don’t know what to expect. According to the stories I heard from my boyfriend I’ll be exhausted at the end, but it will be absolutely worth it. I will probably explore the surroundings because Sweden is a beautiful country. I’ll make the most of it, and have a great time and I’m c

Robert: I’m also very interested in what they will have to offer at the DreamExpo as they often will show new games, new technology and share awesome news. Perhaps get some information about what it takes to work at a company with big titles. So DreamHack isn’t just awesome for the moment, it might even last much longer if I can get an internship abroad.ertain I’ll be going home with beautiful memories and more stuff than I brought to Sweden.”

But of course, it’s not only the games and competitions what keeps me going to DreamHack over and over again, it’s also the awesome people that create the opportunity for us to go to this awesome event. I’m happy to see a few familiar faces, but also happy to create new friends and see them get hyped and excited about the things they love at DreamHack.

DreamHack, to me, has become an event I don’t want to miss. The people you meet, the games you play and the memories you create, make this event much more than just the world’s biggest LAN-party. Looking forward to join Intel Pack4DreamHack on the epic adventure that is DreamHack once again.
