With Intel Pack4DreamHack right around the corner we got the chance to interview yet another Intel Game Angel. This time we speak with Malin ‘Malla’ Öhman. She also is one of the swedish girls in our team, just like aNNa! Read her thoughts about the Angels, Pack4DreamHack and offcourse DreamHack itself down below!

Hey, Malin, who are you and what do you do?
Hello! I’m Malin, 22 years old and I’m living in Stockholm. When Im not playing I am studying interaction design at the university of Stockholm. I have been playing video games/computer games my whole life. I got addicted to Diablo 1 and 2 and played that alot. After that I tried Counter-strike for the first time,
it was such a fun game and I ended up playing the whole summer, barely leaving my house.

CS 1.6, how is your experience here and, what do you think about the team??
I started to play counter-strike 1.5 when I was 14 years old. Ive been playing in teams like SK-ladies, Les seules, mym.ladies, Hooked, etc, and I attended ESWC three times in a row. After ESWC 2006 I decided to focus on school/work instead, and I also played some WoW and Dota for fun.
I think we got some strong players in the team but we need to practise alot since we’ve never played with each other before but we will definitely try to do our best!

Ever played with the girls before?
I’ve actually never played with any of the girls before except for Anna but I think they are really good. Anna is the only girl I knew before and we met when I was 14 years old. We’ve been playing in most of our teams together and after all of these years she’s still a good friend of mine.

Dreamhack, ever been there? What do you think about an event this size?
Yes I have been to Dreamhack three times before. I have been playing some qualifiers for ESWC there etc. But that was a couple of years ago
and Dreamhack is alot bigger now. It’s going to fun to go there again and see how everything’s changed and to meet some old friends and the girls from our team!

What do you think of the Intel Pack4DreamHack concept?
I think it’s a nice concept, especially the ClanHost.nl server you guys arranged for us!

What is your favorite gamegear, and most importantly, do you have an Intel PC?
I’ve been using alot of different gamegear over the years but right now Im using mostly steeseries products and I think they are really good!
And yes ofcourse i have an Intel PC. In fact all of my computers at home are Intel! <3
