Zombies are a curious case. They have become some sort of icon of our present day culture, inspiring thousands of games and other media. Everybody seems to love zombies nowadays, embracing their cold, undead presence like it’s their grandma handing out cookies. But what we seem to forget is that zombies aren’t cute carebears, but vicious and mindless murder machines. Originally dead but having been brought back to “life”, zombies have lost all traces of their humanity. Not able to be hurt and always hunting for fresh human flesh, these monstrous beings have become part of our greatest fears. Dead things should stay dead, not undead and slowly gnawing off your face. That’s where we, the gamers, hop in to save the day. Thanks to the many hours of gameplay we’ve put into zombie themed games, we can be considered experts in the field of zombie-killing. Dead Island: Epidemic is the world’s first true ZOMBA game, featuring fast paced action and hectic gameplay. Think of Epidemic as a cross between League of Legends and Diablo, with unique features of its own. In Epidemic you have direct control over your character by using your good friends WASD. No more clicking and slowly destroying your mouse to get to the other side of the map! By using the ever-expanding roster of diversive characters you can play different kinds of modes, of which the most unique is the PvPvPvE mode. Here you battle against hordes of zombies and capture supplies and control points before your opponent does. The best feature is the fan favourite weapon crafting system from the Dead Island franchise. Gather supplies and create tons of different weapons for whatever play style suits you best. This all together brings a new level of fun to murdering zombies.
